NADA Foreland Returns for Upstate Art Weekend 2023
This year’s expanded edition of NADA Foreland will feature over 40 participating galleries and over 60 exhibiting artists in a collaborative exhibition cascading through our historic Flagship Building and Waterfront; a community market featuring books, art objects and more in our Bookhouse; a selection of premier food by Lil Debs Oasis, and beverage vendors across our sprawling waterfront lawn; and robust series of live music, discussions, guided tours, and other performances throughout the weekend.
"We're thrilled to collaborate again with NADA and the international art community it has and continues to foster," says Jesse Greenberg, Foreland's Director of Programming. "This year's sprawling, kunsthalle-style exhibition will interact with the historical architecture and natural beauty of our Hudson Valley setting, as well as see an expanded offering of performances, special events, and community vendors.”
In addition, visitors will have access to "Foreland Presents", our signature rotating series of artist commissions, public exhibitions, performances, events, and workshops operating around the heart of Foreland's Studio Community. Curated by Jesse Greenberg, each project takes advantage of a specific architectural feature or location within Foreland’s historic industrial buildings.
